The Laughing Pug founder Dylan Rickit spent his early twenties on the sandy shores of Sydney’s Northern beaches honing his craft as a barista.
His fascination with coffee grew into a relentless passion and he soon found himself in Papua New Guinea where he was introduced to a coffee that was as bold and adventurous as he was.
To Dylan, this coffee was a revelation—smooth, robust, and a stark contrast to everything he’d known. Dylan vowed to share the magic of this exceptional coffee with Australia.
And so The Laughing Pug was born with a simple vision - to bring this hidden gem from Papua New Guinea so we can all explore the mysteries of this largely unknown brew.
Together with his team in Burleigh Heads, Dylan is bringing rich, smooth and slow-roasted blends to locals on the Gold Coast and beyond.
