For Donovan van Putten, the ocean was always more than just a playground. Growing up on the water he saw its beauty, but as an adult, he started to see its pain, with plastic waste littering our oceans, beaches and creeks.
Donovan realised that change doesn’t have to be monumental to be meaningful. It starts with the small, everyday choices. A reusable cup instead of plastic. Natural surf wax instead of toxic chemicals.
That's when he founded Green Planet Surfer – a small local business that’s all about creating alternatives, driving awareness, and empowering real impact.
