Inspired by their mum’s cancer battle, Cannabella was founded on the Gold Coast by brothers Matt, Tim, and Michael Stiegler.
Following their mum’s diagnosis the bothers witnessed the terrible side-effects of chemotherapy and began searching for something to alleviate her parched and painful skin.
Matt began researching natural skincare alternatives and inspiration came in the form of YouTube videos which explored the magical healing properties of hemp. Matt melted down his Mum’s skincare products and added hemp oil and natural botanical extracts, in the hope this would help alleviate the problem.
The results were dramatic and immediate.
Matt soon turned his spare bedroom into a lab, experimenting with different types of botanical extracts and hemp oil while taking skincare courses to further his knowledge.
As family and friends began to comment on how amazing his Mum’s skin looked, Matt also began using the products himself. People noticed the improvement in his own skin, the orders started rolling in. And so Cannabella was born.
