When Chico the Aussie met Chica the Argentinian they soon discovered a mutual love for the Choripan – as well as for each other.
Choripan is a barbecued chorizo sandwich found on every street corner in Buenos Aires. Chimichurri is the only sauce that is allowed and is the secret to bringing the sensational flavours of the Choripan together.
This led the the creation of El Chori, a celebration of life, love and flavour. Since then they have been creating fresh, natural and mouthwatering Chimichurri sauces, in honour of a family recipe that has stood the test of time.
Made from scratch, El Chori chimichurri is handcrafted from our Aunty Celina;s recipe. And it’s a ripper. The unique combination of herbs, spices, chilli, vinegar and an artisanal blend of oils, results in a range of sauces that zing with flavour.
Chica and Chico are Inspired by Argentinian culinary traditions and rituals and have a fire burning within to be the best at their craft. Priding themselves on doing simple things extraordinarily well this unique taste of Argentina is made right here on our doorstep.
